On October 14th, Adecco Government (AGS) hosted an open house in conjunction with the SDVOSB Council to seek teaming partners for work with the VA, DHS, and DoD. The focus of the event was geared towards placing secured personnel  in the Engineering, IT, Administrative, and Medical areas.

Adecco Government is a service mark of TAD PGS, Inc a wholly owned subsidiary of Adecco, Inc. The open house was created to offer more opportunities for veteran workers and companies.

There were 50 SDVOSB small businesses in attendance at the open house. During the breakfast, Eric Ravelli, National Sales Director for Adecco Government, presented an overview and FY 15/16 strategic vision for AGS. Gina Harvey, the VP, provided industry insight and opportunities working with AGS. There was also plenty of networking opportunities for the attendees.

According to the SDVOSB website, the U.S. has roughly 5 million Veteran Owned Businesses and close to 500,000 Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The purpose of the SDVOSB council is to advocate at a Federal, State and Local level to challenge agencies and corporations to at least meet goals defined by the Executive Order 13360.

The event was a huge success and Adecco is excited to team up with the council to help create better opportunities for veterans. With that said, the Adecco Government team would  like to extend big thanks to:

Shannon Jameson, Business Development, from Dixon Hughes Goodman corporate office, Tysons, VA.- for hosting the event

Katie Bilek, Senior VP Republic Capital Acces – for coordinating and making the event possible.

Stay tuned for more opportunities from the Adecco team.
